Nesting ,#22

Too much affection from B, enjoy watching Lil R and B playing and teasing each other.

Very simple lunch snack for Lil R, he's been enjoying eating eggs this past week for snacking. With the best non organic butter in the market.

Very sweet hubby made twelve blueberries muffin before work at 7.15 am! He kept them fresh in the oven and surprise me. "Open the oven,I got Lil something for you. For your company when you drinking tea" . what a sweetheart! He baked quite regularly but this is the first few times he did just before work.

Having his 12 months immunization today, as usual he is doing great! 3 injections today, hopefully he will be okay for the next few days. Gave him an elephant doll for the treat! :)

Nice and quite lunch at home, everyone sound asleep. Checking out blogs, read some fashion magazines and waiting for a parcel to come. Got hubby a winter jacket and it will be a surprise. House clean and everything under control, nothing better than this.

Weekend Is Over ,#20

As Im writting, the weekend is officially over. Tomorrow is Sunday but hubby going to work. Practically its Me, LilR and B at home. We not planning to go anywhere, stay at home, cuddle up and hopefully I can finish my picnic rug too.
Today was a big day for me. I got up tad early to go to the Queen Victoria Market for weekly grocery shopping. Got B lil pendant,so cute cant resist. Took some market photos aswell.
For you who do not lived in Melbourne, Queen Victoria Market is the biggest market in Melbourne. They sell fresh produce food, vegetables, deli section and also they also have accessories stalls. BIG and pretty much you can find anything in there, from Australiana souvenirs, knick-knacks, home decor, clothing & accsesories, etc.

Their seafoods are so fresh and lots of choice. The prices are fairly not too expensive compare to supermarket. They often give you discount too if you a regular at some shops.

Deli section , yes its great for those who eat meat or loves the Italian sausages, salami and kabana. They have a HUGE range to choice from. Myself is not a big fan of meat, so I usually browse the cheese section, lots of Cheese in display and you can do testing in the stall before you buy.

The fruit & veggies section are outside the meat and delis section. Look at them, they are so fresh! Lots of discount too if they know you in some stalls and especially if you buy in bulk! :)

Last, I got these for Lil J - very cute original England Peter Rabbit for only $3 at the op shop nearby (it was clean with no stainswhen I bought it, but Lil R was playing with it and got stained!). Was looking for some blankets/fabrics for the Beagle rescue but as usual, my eyes just snatched to a few good looking stuff for me or Lil R. In the end Im happy because I get to collect pretty much around maybe 12m of fabrics/blankets for the Beagle rescue, got the jumper, two jeans skirt for me and a set 0f 6 never used S&P teacups including sugar bowl and milk jar for $8. I know it sounds a lot but I spent it all for under $25. Woohoo!

Creative Space, #19

My creative space for tonight, I managed to finished quilted patchwork picnic rug. Im very happy with myself as I managed to do all the sewing, pinned them together and this and that took me less than 2 hr! I cut up the fabric a week ago and too busy too finished up until tonight, tomorrow is going to be the backing (which Im thinking plain pale pink or cream) and the binding will be cream is-latte color. I put all of these scraps fabric together and decided to make some pretty in pink spring/summer picnic rug, although Im not a big fan of pink but I don't mind this one.

Tomorrow is going to be a big day as I have to go to the market early morning, thinking Victoria market for weekly grocery shopping and hunting op shops for some blankets/fabrics and spotlight too. Also I have to start sew the dog blanket for the Beagle Rescue tomorrow night because they will pick the blankets on saturday.
Trying to take some nice photos tomorrow, as lately the past weeks I've been taking crap photos. Too busy to play with the camera and I think I need a bigger flash!

Shoepaholic ,#18

have to confess, Im really bad when it comes to shopping. It seems like I cant stop myself. Especially shoes and jacket! Im a sucker for cute or a pretty pair of shoes. Today, I had a shoes delivered to my door from ASOS. This U.K website have such a large range of clothes, shoes, accessories that you can choose from, delivery a bit expensive but take only 5-7 days to arrive to Australia.

I bought this very masculine/cute leather patent baby pink Dr Martens. Not my usual style but I dare to try something different. Turns out pretty cute with the right clothes! It reminded me back in primary school when Dr Martens so booming (excuse for the ugly yellow-ish color in pics, was a quick shots).

I was very happy today, Lil R also behaving himself and Bond too. So I will enjoy my new Doc tomorrow - perfect for rainy winter season.

Thrift finds, #17

Went thrift shop today, just randomly pop in and snapped a very nice tan boots and it seem never used. A pretty wool scarf and Hensel and Gretel book from the 80's for total $10.

Now Im thinking what to do with Lil R Birthday presents. He got massive (yes a lot of presents!) from family and our friends. He already got quite a lot of nice toys at home, from wooden blocks to puppet dolls. Now Im just not sure where to store all of his presents. Its 3 weeks after he turned one and this is the only time I gather all of them. And the photo below is just HALF of the presents!

Hopefully by the end of this week I will sort these things out. Im not sure if I even going to keep them Ssshhh... hopefully Lil R will not find out. LOL

Winter, #16

Made Bond a flannelette jacket last night, very quick one to keep him warm. Im a bit annoyed because I couldn't find any velcro in my messy sewing room (I know I had at least 2metres somewhere!) so I used ribbon instead. It turned out Ok for temporary jacket.

And this is what happened when Lil R out of my sight for 3 minutes. He is so quick! He's been climbing up and down since He is 11 months old. Trouble trouble.

Im hoping tommorrow weather is better than today! Im going to make few blankets for Beagle Rescue Victoria they need warm blankets, sheets old or new for winter months. So pop in to Op Shops and maybe Spotlight for some fleece.
