A Full Day, #11

It is officially a week since my last post. I had a very amusing and fun week! Full of smile, laugh and tears aswell. This week is also Lil R officially first playgroup class. Its been great, a full 2hours class. We join the Sophia Mundi Steiner School, their method and principal is just so wonderful. But Im still learning about the pro and con about this whole Steiner school VS mainstream school. As my background is brought up in private school from kinder thru University while my husband been brought up in Steiner education from Kinder thru high school (except uni), so there is a pro and con for me about this whole thing. But the main thing is I want the best education and enviroment for both Lil R and Lil J.
Besides that, my week went pretty quick it seems weird for me because I expect that days will be hard and long for me because of my mum and Lil J will go home to Indonesia soon. I will terribly terribly miss them a lot especially Little J (Little J been living with grandma the last two years and visiting melbourne twice a year for 3 months stay everytime she come). This house will be so much quieter when Lil J is gone for Indonesia.
This week we also had an unexpected trip to a dog expo, a friend of me pick up and offer to visit the expo and everyone had a good long day! We saw a lot of dogs (I'm a BIGGEST dog lover) and play with some of farm animals. nice sunny day too in melbourne on that day.

Today also a very productive day for me, took some pics for the shop and going to list them soon in the next two days. Had dinner with family and brother in-law also bought some magazines for my inspiration. I just cant believe how many baby/kids magazine nowadays. Back in three years ago, modern minimalism babies/kids fashion magazine are still a rare find! Will post some tommorrow from some interesting page in the magazine.
As usual, it is late here in Melbourne and we are one day ahead from the US so it is time for me to take off and saying GOOD NIGHT! x

Happy Valentine's Day!, # 10

Happy Valentine's Day everyone! The sweetest day of the year full of love hearts, chocolates and flowers. Everyobe being so sweet to their loved ones. Im going to have lunch at home, me and husband will cook and we going for a drinks or two later. I gave present and a non handmade card to my husband this morning and no breakfast in bed for us! Haha. 

This just an idea what I gave it to him this morning Haighs Chocolates and few other small things.

I had a nice day out and about to the city with family yesterday, had cookie and tea at the famous Hopetoun tea house , browsing for pressie and had crepe for lunch yummm!

Val's Day present 

In the middle of blogging , I'm also cooking for lunch right now. Sneak out from kitchen and blogging and my husband was amazed with me how multitask I am :) Other than that my apartment in such a big mess. Everything on the floor and lucky I got a cleaner come on monday morning to help clean the house and a BIG pile of clothes to iron and fold.

I better run to the kitchen now before my pasta burning. HAVE A LOVELY DAY EVERYONE! xx

Happy Day , #9

Everyone Happy today, Im being productive, kids being good at home busy with their things playing and husband came home super early today and took kids to the park. I had a casual day in the city aswell during the day, nice lunch with family and finally now a great night. Only one thing that shocked me, my son make a colorful mess on the floor. Oh gosh...

Watching telly now,bushfires appeal. Feeling bad and sorry for those people who had lost their houses in the bushfires. It is a terrible feeling to watch. Besides that, I have a few nice photos to share. A flowers kiosk in the city (my fave flower shop in melbourne), city corner and few photos from the park today aswell.

I've been browsing for these astronaut PJ's for my son but luckily my son is not big enough for this piece.. I'm going mad trying to buy this piece! Haha...

Lazy Monday, #8

Monday again today..Oh boy! Feel crap today, no real plans and try to booked restaurant for Valentine's day (my 2 faves restaurants) and all booked out! sigh! Cant believe it... maybe people started to booked a month or two months ago! Oh well, now Im just going to the beach with hubby then go for drinks a cocktails or two and maybe a movie for the closing night. What do you think?

Anyway, I started to do sewing again 2days ago after 2 weeks postpone. I made a blanket, a bib and two changing mats that I will list on the shop soon. Here is the sneak peek

Oh and lately I've been listening to Kings of Leon and Coldplay a lot. Me and husband have a Coldplay concerts and Dralion soon..so excited! Coldplay has the best concert I've ever seen, the first time I watched them was in melbourne 2 years ago and it was great. Funny thing is, bunch of people said that my husband does look a lot like Chris Martin the lead singer of Coldplay (with blue jacket in this pic). Ha Ha Ha.

Phew...it's 3.23pm and Im not being so productive. It's time for me to do something good today. Going to post office soon to mail an order then maybe clean up house then go to supermarket tonight. Done!

Hottest Day On Record, #7

Well it's official, today was the hottest day ever.. in Melbourne. While I was at home sewing, my husband took Little J + R to the city - into the hottest afternoon on record, 47degrees C!

They had fun regardless, while i was working on a few new designs. I have almost perfected my concept for new "Changing matt". It will be great.

Also pondering houses and what changes may take place in 2009... Exciting! Now, to turn the aircon back on...

Random, #6

Exactly twelve o'clock  midnight here in Melbourne ( and today weather going to reach 44 degrees here!! OH GOSH! ) and I'm still wide awake watching Grand Designs on DVD and writing this blog. Been few days since the last time I post.

Went fabric shopping today for my new idea of "changing mat" and hopefully I could make it happen by tomorrow. The last few days been great for me, spent some quality time with kids and just relax with a very pleasant weather. Been window shopping at malls and net for Little R 1st birthday on early  May ( I know its still too early for present but I just want to get it done early and I love buying present anyway! ).

Milk Magazine , #5

Today is a very nice day here in melbourne, sunny but not too hot. Had a very nice lunch with sister kids and um nice family day while husband still on work trip to Sydney.

I also purchased MILK magazine today it's a kids fashion magz for me to flick thru during day and inspiration too.  Oh Gosh I got no idea how expensive were this magz but oh well, Im gettin it anyway!

I cant believe how good this magazine is..So colorful and fun! Wish I'm still a little girl now LOL. I bought the French edition of this magz (I dont read or speak French but it's so good to just flick thru!).

Hope everyone have a good day today .. It's time for me to put kids to sleep.
