As Im writting, the weekend is officially over. Tomorrow is Sunday but hubby going to work. Practically its Me, LilR and B at home. We not planning to go anywhere, stay at home, cuddle up and hopefully I can finish my picnic rug too.
Today was a big day for me. I got up tad early to go to the Queen Victoria Market for weekly grocery shopping. Got B lil pendant,so cute cant resist. Took some market photos aswell.
For you who do not lived in Melbourne, Queen Victoria Market is the biggest market in Melbourne. They sell fresh produce food, vegetables, deli section and also they also have accessories stalls. BIG and pretty much you can find anything in there, from Australiana souvenirs, knick-knacks, home decor, clothing & accsesories, etc.Their seafoods are so fresh and lots of choice. The prices are fairly not too expensive compare to supermarket. They often give you discount too if you a regular at some shops.
Deli section , yes its great for those who eat meat or loves the Italian sausages, salami and kabana. They have a HUGE range to choice from. Myself is not a big fan of meat, so I usually browse the cheese section, lots of Cheese in display and you can do testing in the stall before you buy.
The fruit & veggies section are outside the meat and delis section. Look at them, they are so fresh! Lots of discount too if they know you in some stalls and especially if you buy in bulk! :)
Last, I got these for Lil J - very cute original England Peter Rabbit for only $3 at the op shop nearby (it was clean with no stainswhen I bought it, but Lil R was playing with it and got stained!). Was looking for some blankets/fabrics for the Beagle rescue but as usual, my eyes just snatched to a few good looking stuff for me or Lil R. In the end Im happy because I get to collect pretty much around maybe 12m of fabrics/blankets for the Beagle rescue, got the jumper, two jeans skirt for me and a set 0f 6 never used S&P teacups including sugar bowl and milk jar for $8. I know it sounds a lot but I spent it all for under $25. Woohoo!
